If you love the great outdoors and want to walk with a friendly and knowledgeable guide in the beautiful countryside around the Hebden Bridge and Haworth area, then Hebden Hikes guided walks is for you!

You may be on your own, with friends or a group – you may want a gentle walk or a long day out – whatever you want I can lead you on a tailor-made walk to suit your individual needs and interests

Reasons to walk with Hebden Hikes

  • There’s no need to map read and plan routes, I will do this and lead your walk leaving you to enjoy the scenery!
  • If want to get off the beaten track, I can take you away from the main routes so you can enjoy some of the quieter, less well known areas
  • You may want to learn about local history as you go – the area has a unique social history and there are routes that explore these features
  • Trek training – are you going on a trek or charity walk?   I can take you on more demanding walks, with plenty of steep climbs, and give advice about what equipment is needed for a long and/or multi day trek

Hebden Hikes walks are ideal for individuals or small groups (up to 12 people).   You may be living locally, or visiting the area either for the day or on holiday. You may be a group of friends who want to have a series of organised walks.  Or you may be a walking group wanting to come to Hebden Bridge and get off the beaten track

I am an experienced walking group guide and regularly work freelance for national walking companies.   I have led holidays throughout the UK, for example in the Yorkshire Dales and Moors, the Lake District, Llangollen, on the Isle of Guernsey and the Isle of Arran, as well as on long distance routes such as the Hadrian’s Wall trek in Northumberland.   I am available as a freelance guide for organisations and groups planning such holidays.
